Another application that was hosted for free download by Digital River is Microsoft Office 2008 for Macintosh. Just as everything else, the Office 2008 downloads have been pulled also. If you need the installation files, chances are slim, but a few options remain.

This includes the failed MS-OOXML converter which took two years to create, just in time for Microsoft to abandon it in favor of ODF in SP2 coming later this year. Ouch.

Not sure why this is just showing up now, I received this update about 3 weeks ago.. anyway, great update, haven't ran into a single issue.
On MacPro Dual Quad 2.8 running 10.5.3.
Gotta love how M$ writes their flagship application suite better on a Mac then on their own Windows Platform.
